I went on a trip to visit my grandparents and aunt and uncle. We hiked, saw an eagle nest, saw deer and found a lizard.

Yesterday my family and I went to the Molalla river. It was our favorite spot to go to, and there is this really great spot but it was across the river, so we had to cross. The only problem was the water was shoulder high and ice cold! My Dad and brothers fly fished most of the time. Here are some pictures I took.

Sometimes when we are at the river we find frogs and yesterday we found one.
On the fourth of July we set off fireworks and then watched the Buckeroo fireworks. A few days before the fourth of July I went to another dance which was fun, but one thing I liked about it was when I was dancing fireworks started to go off over head. They were really pretty ones too.

A few days ago my Mom took my friends and I to see Eclipse at midnight. It was fun, but when we got home it was 3:00 in the morning so I fell asleep right away.

A month ago our pool popped, so our grandma bought us a new one. Also she took us to her neighborhood pool, we had a lot of fun.

In art class I learned how to draw horses. My Mom told me that I could draw a unicorn so I changed this picture. I drew to a unicorn instead of a horse eating. My art teacher said she liked my drawings. I'm going to start watercolor painting which I think will be really fun! Here is one of my drawings:

Last week my family and some friends went to Hagg Lake. While my dad and brother were fishing, we went on a hike and found some columbines.
My dad caught a female Bluegill fish, but she was pregnant and small so he let her go. Other than that, we didn't catch any fish but it didn't really matter because the lake was beautiful. The only thing I didn't like was out on the dock you couldn't see the bottom of the lake. I like to be able to see how deep the water is.

A few days ago, there was a thunder storm . When I was seven I was afraid of them, but now I just think they're cool. A while ago, my friend's cat had kittens. We got our friend's favorite kitten and named her Athena.
