Happy halloween!

Here is a picture that my mom took of my brothers and I. My mom made me a really pretty gypsy costume and my brothers are a skeleton and a vampire. Last night my family and I carved some pumpkins and decorated our house with halloween snow globes, little scarecrows, spider candles, and little glass pumpkins. Last week my family and I went to a friends Halloween party. At the party there was a costume contest and I won a award! I'm very excited that it's Halloween and wish everyone a very happy Halloween!

In art class my teacher had us do a barn. I decided to have pumpkins on mine because its getting close to Halloween. The next art class we did wolves. I think wolves are very beautiful creatures so it was fun doing the wolf.

Last week I went to the Oregon Symphony! The theme was pirates so they played music from Pirates of the Caribbean and some stuff from the movie Hook and a Wagner piece. At one part people dressed up as pirates ran down the isles and started sword fighting. It was a lot of fun!

My family and I went to the coast last month. I saw a whale and my family and I saw some tide pools with starfish and sea anemones in them. We also saw my grand parents who were camping at the coast. Before that, we went to the Aquarium and saw some really cool fish and seals. They have a new exhibit called Swamp Land which was really cool, there were all sorts of snakes, frogs, and fish. There were a ton of purple and orange starfish on a rock. There were these pools filled with water with sea anemones.

There is this really cool part of the Aquarium where there are sharks and other cool fish.

Also, one of are chickens has chicks! And our ducks are going to have ducklings.

I went on a trip to visit my grandparents and aunt and uncle. We hiked, saw an eagle nest, saw deer and found a lizard.

Yesterday my family and I went to the Molalla river. It was our favorite spot to go to, and there is this really great spot but it was across the river, so we had to cross. The only problem was the water was shoulder high and ice cold! My Dad and brothers fly fished most of the time. Here are some pictures I took.

Sometimes when we are at the river we find frogs and yesterday we found one.
On the fourth of July we set off fireworks and then watched the Buckeroo fireworks. A few days before the fourth of July I went to another dance which was fun, but one thing I liked about it was when I was dancing fireworks started to go off over head. They were really pretty ones too.

A few days ago my Mom took my friends and I to see Eclipse at midnight. It was fun, but when we got home it was 3:00 in the morning so I fell asleep right away.

A month ago our pool popped, so our grandma bought us a new one. Also she took us to her neighborhood pool, we had a lot of fun.

In art class I learned how to draw horses. My Mom told me that I could draw a unicorn so I changed this picture. I drew to a unicorn instead of a horse eating. My art teacher said she liked my drawings. I'm going to start watercolor painting which I think will be really fun! Here is one of my drawings:
